Elena Beelaerts is a visual artist. Drawing is the basis of all her work. Gradually these drawings emerge from paper to become collages, sculptures, installations or animations. Sometimes she combines these media with other disciplines to create a total work of art. She also works at the cusp of art and design, often in collaboration with Floris Tilanus.
